It seems interesting to me to publish a summary of the work of the last ten years. Although after reflecting on it, i have decided to choose only three subjects to avoid diluting the presentation.
Ideally, to have an idea of an artistīs trajectory, it should be enough to only show his or her latest creation; because, in that, we find all of the steps of the author summed up; there are the lost moments, the useless gestures, and the paths that remain unwalked with a loss of desperation; ecstasy, a sense of loss, and scarcity, states of consciousness for which the work, touched by the gods, emits an unusual musicality. Continually returning to the first moment of inspiration, said le corbusines, gives us the possibility of refining the impulse, because that is the purest instant, creation laid bare. We accumulate ideas; we have our own history, which is a little, in itself the history of painting. we are nothing without the masters; we continually make references back to them and even though many may not choose to acknowledge that, thatīs the way it is. The work is not the painting itself, but in the invention of reasons why we should make it a profound act, an elegant act, and an aesthetic one. Being able to evoke our melancholy moments, shadowy and happy. Making our internal world credible. these comings-and-goings from the primitive sources of inspirations, the obligatory reference to the masters, and the search for the language of aesthetics - within this synthesis lies the base of my work. Thinking about it thoroughly makes them reasons enough to give my life beautiful meaning. |
